White BeltThe White belt symbolizes innocence. It's the first step on your Tae Kwon Do journey

Yellow BeltThe Yellow belt represents the earth from which Tae Kwon Do skill sprout and takes root.

Orange BeltThe Orange Belt represents the color of the rising sun. Seeds in the ground begin to germinate and grow. Basic Tae Kwon Do techniques begin to be learned.

Green BeltThe Green Belt represents the color of growing things that all can see. Power begins to develop.

Blue BeltThe Blue Belt represents the color of the sky and continued upward attainment.

Brown BeltThe Brown Belt represents the color of the ground where growing things are rooted firmly. Stability of physical and mental power is apparent.

Brown/Red BeltThe Brown/Red Belt symbolizes the transition into the advanced color belt techniques.

Red BeltThe Red Belt symbolizes danger. At this stage the student is very skilled in taekwondo. This skill could be dangerous if the student has not also learned self-control.

Red/Black BeltThe Red/Black Belt symbolizes caution. At this stage The student has reached the twilight of his/her physical training and is approaching black belt. The Tae Kwon Do student must proceed with caution since the black belt presents many pitfalls and dangers
